Troubleshooting Guide

Our Candlelight Fragrancers are a high quality, durable product created with care and attention to detail, and each one is individually inspected for quality. If operation is not to your expectation, please consult the list below for resolutions to some common operating concerns.
If your Fragrancer is still not operating correctly after trying any applicable steps below, or has any other defect, please call (1) 888-517-0022, or click to contact the Scent Savvy Customer Care Team.


A. CANDLELIGHT FRAGRANCER WILL NOT TURN ON:
1. Check that batteries are inserted correctly in battery compartment.
2. Check that batteries have sufficient charge and are not flat.
3. Slide ON/OFF Switch to ON position.


B. FRAGRANCER IS FLICKERING RAPIDLY:
Flickering or blinking rapidly means the batteries are low and need to be replaced.


C. I CAN'T SMELL ANY FRAGRANCE:
1. Check that the Scentercore Inlet on the base is not obstructed by any object.
2. Scent-In Fragrance Refills usually last 7 to 10 days and yours may have become depleted. Replace with a fresh Scent-In Fragrance Refill.
3. If Scent-In Fragrance Refill is new, and Fragrancer is not glowing, see A above.
4. If Scent-In Fragrance Refill is new, and Fragrancer is glowing, hold to your ear and listen for a soft hum to indicate Scentercore is functioning correctly. If you hear silence and no soft hum, contact Scent Savvy Customer Care.


D. MY FRAGRANCER IS TURNED OFF, BUT I STILL SMELL IT:
Even when the Fragrancer is OFF, Scent-In Fragrance Refills can create an ambient fragrance in a small area around the Fragrancer. If you do not want this ambient fragrance when Fragrancer is OFF, simply remove the Scent-In and store in an airtight, fragrance resistant container (glass is best) until you wish to use it again. Keep container away from children and pets and wash after use.


E. MY SAVVY TIME IS STARTING EARLIER/LATER THAN SET:
The Savvy timer in your Fragrancer can vary a little each day and over time the variances can add up to a noticeable difference in your SAVVY TIME. If this happens, simply reset SAVVY TIME at the correct time you would like it to begin.


F. MY SAVVY TIME CHANGED OR DID NOT COME ON AS EXPECTED AFTER REMOVING/CHANGING BATTERIES:
Each time batteries are removed and replaced, SAVVY TIME must be reset.
